Blending Italian tradition with modern dietary sensibilities, ALPA is a new gluten- and grain-free pasta alternative made from nutrient-dense almond flour. Designed for people with specific dietary needs, ALPA reinvents a staple of comfort food through a lens of health and sustainability.

To shape its identity, ALPA turned to Studio Tyrrell, who positioned the brand as a refined yet approachable reinterpretation of classic Italian cuisine. Drawing from ALPA’s deep-rooted heritage, the studio developed a complete visual system, strategy, identity, and packaging, that feels both timeless and contemporary. Illustrations by Form Play lend a light, expressive touch, while creative partner Jack Adair Bevan helped guide the brand’s tone and sensibility.

The design balances clarity and warmth, with packaging that feels elevated but never clinical, an important distinction for a product that lives at the intersection of health and tradition. From the beginning, the collaboration was grounded in a shared vision. As the founder of ALPA noted, “From our very first meeting, Oliver understood exactly what I was envisioning and translated it into a brand that truly represents who we are. His creativity and eye for detail are exceptional.”

With its clean, modern packaging and thoughtful storytelling, ALPA stands as an example of how dietary alternatives can be reframed not as compromised, but as natural evolutions of tradition.
